When is a urological examination needed in children?

Paediatric urology assessment is recommended for undescended testis, recurrent urinary tract infections, difficulty voiding, bedwetting persisting beyond the expected age, or suspected structural problems of the urinary tract. If a suspicious finding exists, expert opinion should be sought without delay.
